Valley Leadership’s Opioid Toolkit

Opioid misuse has become a pervasive issue in the United States, affecting millions of Americans and presenting a significant challenge for businesses. In Arizona alone, the crisis has resulted in more than 52,000 suspected opioid overdoses and 7,000 deaths since June 2017. Shockingly, a person is now more likely to die from an accidental opioid overdose than a car crash.

Recognizing the urgent need for solutions, Valley Leadership and Goodfinder are developing an AI platform designed to provide leaders with comprehensive information to create positive drug policies for employers. This platform aims to address the complex challenges associated with opioid misuse in the workplace, offering insights and strategies to support both employees and employers in navigating this critical issue.

Our contribution

We are actively developing an AI model that will assist HR leaders and executives in creating stronger drug prevention programs for their businesses. This initiative comes in response to the widespread impact of opioid misuse in the United States, which has led to thousands of deaths and overdoses, particularly in Arizona.

The AI platform will provide comprehensive information and insights to help employers develop positive drug policies that prioritize employee well-being and safety. By leveraging the power of AI, we aim to provide HR leaders and executives with the tools they need to address the complex challenges of opioid misuse in the workplace, ultimately creating safer and more supportive environments for employees.
